Deburring operators are measured collectively as a team on the company’s overall profitability and individually on the quality of parts that they debur.

Organizational Status:
      This position reports to the deburring foreman.
 
Working Relationships:
       This position works along with the deburring department.
 
 Roles & Responsibilities
  • Safety conscious & always follows company’s safety policies & procedures.
  • Reports to work on time consistently.
  • Quality workmanship always and foremost.
  • Proficient with small hand tools used in deburring operations such as but not limited to files, hooks, scrapers, chamfer tools, pin vises, drill bits.
  • Use of eye loops, magnifying glasses or scope to insure quality work.
  • Operation of hand drills, air grinders, polishing wheels.
  • Follow instructions given whether verbal, written or in process document form.
  • Keep area presentable and orderly.
  • Operate cleaning equipment such as Roto finish tumbler, tumble blast, and grit blast machine.
  • Good eyesight, able to spot burs and imperfections on parts.
 
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Training on cleaning equipment.
  • May have training on Rosler tumble blast machine’s operation & maintenance.
