Wilcox® Mount for Standard Army or Ops-Core® Shroud
Newington, NH— Wilcox Industries, manufacturer of tactical equipment is introducing their newest Night Vision Goggle (NVG) Mount the G24 that locks into the currently fielded Standard Army and Ops-Core Shrouds.
The G24 mount features Wilcox’s breakaway switch that allows the goggles to come off when hit or knocked violently, greatly reducing the incidences of neck injury during parachuting operations, or while entering and exiting a vehicle. This option can be switched to a non-breakaway mode depending on operational conditions. Another switch allows the operator to flip the goggles out of the way when not in use, while a magnet allows the operator to enable an auto shut off function on the goggles when using the flip function.
A conveniently placed switch also allows the operator to easily release the goggles from the mount when not needed. The mount features re-designed mechanical adjustments for up and down, for/aft and a tilt to ensure proper eye relief. All adjustments can be easily performed with one hand and are rugged and sturdy preventing loosening of the goggles over time.
The G25 option of the mount features an Ops-Core VAS Shroud that mounts to any helmet drilled with the standard three-hole pattern. The mount is available in either black or tan.
