Wilcox Introduces NVG Mount for LUCIE Goggle
Newington, N.H. —Wilcox Industries, manufacturer of tactical equipment is introducing their newest Night Vision Goggle (NVG) Mount for the LUCIE NVG for their continually growing helmet mount line. The new mount locks into the currently fielded Army one-hole and Ops-Core Shrouds.
A switch allows the operator to flip the goggles out of the way when not in use. While a tilting magnet switch allows the operator to enable an auto shut off function on the goggles. A conveniently placed switch also allows the operator to easily release the goggles from the mount when not needed. The mount features re-designed mechanical adjustments for up and down, for/aft and a tilt adjustment that are rugged and sturdy preventing loosening of the goggles over time.
The LUCIE NVG mount also features Wilcox’s breakaway switch. This allows the goggles to come off when hit or knocked violently greatly reducing the incidences of neck injury during parachuting operations, or while entering and exiting a vehicle. This option can be switched to a non-breakaway mode depending on operational conditions.
