Organizational Status: Reports to Product Manager Working Relationships: Will work independently as well as working with area personnel. Roles & Responsibilities: - Performs basic, standardized and repetitive assembly operations and labeling of components, assemblies or subassemblies.
- Preps and assembles manually inserted components per visual aids.
- Ensures assemblies and components are properly handled and marked.
- Visually inspects parts for proper insertion and placement.
- Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized.
Qulaifications & Requirements: - Ability to follow instructions; such instruction may be provided in written or verbal form.
- Ability to follow process documentation during the assembly, along with work order travelers.
- Proficient with small hand tools including, but not limited to, screw drivers, files, scrapers, exacto knifes, pin vises, allen drivers, and hands drill.
- Must have a working knowledge of the U.S. and metric measurement systems and be able to use measuring tools such as rulers, calipers, and verniers.
- Must be able to distinguish, separate, and classify different types of hardware.
- Must be able to work with adhesives and solvents.
- Basic computer skills are required for this job.
- Must be able to work independently as well as with others.
- Must be able safety conscious and always follow the company’s safety policies and procedures.
