Wilcox NVG Mount for PVS-21 NVG Goggles
Newington, NH. — Wilcox Industries, manufacturer of tactical equipment is introducing their newest model of Night Vision Goggle (NVG) helmet mounts designed specifically for the PVS-21’s to their already extensive line of NVG helmet mounts. The new mount locks into the standard Army or Ops Core Shrouds.
The new mount features two different storage options. A primary switch allows for the mount to flip up to a stowed position while the goggle is still attached. A separate switch allows for the mount to flip up into a secondary stowed position when the NVG’s are removed creating an even lower profile. The height and fore/aft adjustments on the mount are designed for one handed operations and feature simple and robust mechanisms than will not loosen over time.
The G21 mount also features Wilcox’s breakaway switching that allows the NVG’s to break free from the mount preventing neck injuries or damage to the goggles during fast roping operations, hard impacts or while entering or exiting vehicles. Depending on operational conditions the breakaway mode can also be locked out.
The G21 mount features a convenient release lever that allows the NVG’s to easily be released from the helmet when not in use. The mount is constructed of light weight aerospace grade metal and is available in black or tan.
